War Flag of the Republic of Negros

NOTE: This is a fictional flag and is not used as a state flag, war flag, naval ensign, etc.

In the past few months, I was interested on how the two provinces of the island of Negros, Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental were united again and rebelled against Spain to form a new republic.

This republic would be called the Republic of Negros which gained independence on November 5, 1898.

3 months later, during American colonization, the Republic of Negros became part of the Philippines and was split into two provinces again.

But I had the idea that if the republic survived, what would be the flag be?

The flag of the Republic of Negros largely resembled the flag of the Philippines and had the same designs and colors as well.

In this one, I'm making a flag which is unique from it.

The vertical bicolors of white and teal represent the two provinces Negros Occidental (white, which is also the background color of the provincial flag) and Negros Oriental (teal, which is also the background color of the provincial flag).

Design: A white and teal gyronny.
